Warm and Cozy Protein Oats

I love my breakfast smoothie, but when winter hits, I crave a warm and cozy breakfast to nourish me in the morning. Protein oats do just the trick, and they come together while my coffee is brewing, and can be altered easily depending on what I have on hand.

Why Protein Oats?: I’m a big proponent of getting protein in first thing in the day to help increase your overall intake throughout the day and help build healthy muscles and keep you feeling full longer! For that reason, I like to add protein powder to my oats, but you can choose to add a scoop of greek yoghurt on top if you prefer a non powder method of boosting your morning oats, just decrease the amount of milk you use by about a third.
