Protein Shake Ice Cream

Last sips of summer calls for summer ice cream, but make it ice cream to hit your protein goals! I aim for 100-120g of protein per day to support my daily movement and strength needs (all those planks need muscle fuel!) Upping your protein content is a great way to support muscle strength and development. It also helps keep you satiated throughout the day. In order to hit my protein target, I aim for 20-30 grams per meal (breakfast, lunch, dinner and a snack.) When I haven’t hit my protein goals by dinner time, I love adding this protein ice cream for dessert!

Cool Tips:

  • Add a drizzle of nut butter, coconut flakes, fruit or chocolate chips for some extra fun!
