High-Protein FroYo
This tasty and cooling treat works as a perfect sweet tooth craving at the end of the day that still helps you hit your protein goals. I aim for 100-120g of protein per day to support my daily movement and strength needs (all those planks need muscle fuel!) Upping your protein content is a great way to support muscle strength and development, but getting over 60g in a day takes some effort. This sweet treat is the perfect dessert when I need to sneak a little extra in.
Cool Tips:
Make in the afternoon and freeze so it will be ready in time for dessert!

Vegetarian, Gluten-Free
Ingredients
1 frozen banana
1/2 cup greek yogurt (2% or whole tastes best)
1scoop vanilla protein powder (pea or whey but whey dissolves best into yogurt)
1 scoop collagen peptides
1/2 tsp cinnamon (optional)
Instructions
Combine all ingredients in blender.
Blend and scrape sides down every few seconds, adding a small bit of water if the mixture gets stuck, but try to keep as thick as possible.
Freeze for at least 2 hrs
Top with chia seeds, nut butter, coconut flakes, or fruit and enjoy!
