Join me for a weekend of movement at Lundy Farm in the heart of the Hudson Valley. Soak up everything Upstate NY in the fall has to offer, take in the foliage and fresh air, eat nourishing food, do a ton of Pilates with some Yoga and breath work sprinkled in, all while hanging out with new (and perhaps old) friends in this beautiful setting. All levels and abilities welcome! No previous Pilates experience required!

About Lundy Farm

A 62-acre property—2 hours north of NYC—surrounded by 30,000 acres of state forest in the Hudson Valley. This luxury 2-villa estate was purchased by Brooklyn restauranteur Irving Lundy in 1920 to be a gathering place for experiencing nature’s high aesthetics. Through an extensive revitalization, that foundation and vision have been maintained.

Guests stay in the newly renovated guest house featuring private rooms and bathrooms, comfortable common rooms, reading nooks and fireplaces. A modern greenhouse, 4-acre regenerative organic farm, and chef kitchen complement the estate.

The expansive landscape set in a mountainous valley caters to long walks, bike rides, and hiking. The restored horse stables were thoughtfully remodeled into a movement and wellness studio. A large spring-fed pond and sauna provide plenty of opportunities for fun and relaxation.

The morning classes will be 60 minutes of movement meant to fire up your muscles and leave you feeling energized and challenged. The evening classes will be 90 mins and offer focused challenge alongside stretching and reflection. By the end of the weekend, you can expect your mind and body to feel open and inspired!

ABOUT ABBY

Abby Suskin is a former tightwire walker turned Pilates instructor with over 20 years of professional movement experience.

A native Vermonter, she has travelled the world with the circus and now calls Brooklyn, NY home. Abby is inspired by nature, connecting with others, and bringing joy to her life and to the lives of her students. After years as head of programming at New York Pilates, she created Pilates With Abs - her slow-burn custom movement method in March of 2020 to raise money for NYC hospitals.

Pilates With Abs is now a robust online studio and community driven space, offering classes live on Zoom and on demand on the Pilates With Abs iOS app. Abby specializes in bringing reformer Pilates to the mat while delivering a challenging and uplifting workout suitable for every body.

This is her third retreat in the Hudson Valley and she is thrilled about this new location!

Single, double and triple-rooms with options for single and shared beds.

  • GETTING THERE

    Lundy Farm is located in the Mid-Hudson Valley approximately 2 hours from NYC. Public transportation is available via Amtrak to Poughkeepsie station and 50 min taxi or bus ride to Wawarsing.

  • CANCELLATION POLICY

    A 50% deposit is required to secure your spot on the trip and are not refundable. Remaining balance is due by October 4th and there are no cancelations. Nobody books a retreat with the intention of canceling it, but unexpected events do occur, so please consider purchasing travel insurance. Exceptions cannot be made for any reason, including weather, injury/illness, or personal emergencies. No refunds or credits will be granted for failure to attend, complete or for arriving late or leaving early.
