Turkey Burgers

As I've been incorporating more strength-focused workouts into my routine lately, I've also been paying a little more attention to getting enough protein throughout the day, and when grilled chicken was getting boring, the turkey burger entered the chat and I’ve been making weekly!

Turkey burgers get a bad rep for being dry, bland, and a little disappointing. But this version has become a staple in my house because it's easy, high in protein, and actually tastes good.

This recipe comes together in 20 mins and I love that I can mix everything together in a bowl, throw it in the air fryer, and have lunch or dinner ready super quick.

My Easy Turkey Burger Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb ground turkey

  • 2-3 tablespoons Greek yogurt

  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

  • 1 teaspoon paprika

  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder

  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano

  • salt and pepper to taste

  • Mix everything together and form into patties (don’t over-work the meat)

  • Air fry at 375° for about 12-15 minutes, depending on thickness, flipping halfway through if needed.

I've been serving these a few different ways:

  • on a bun with all the classic fixings

  • over a salad

  • alongside roasted potatoes and vegetables

  • chopped into a grain bowl

Lately my favorite has been pairing one with a simple salad and some roasted sweet potatoes for an easy weeknight dinner. Enjoy!
